Staying in Kish
Kish is the beach-and-shopping island for Iranians who have no passport or do not want to use one: a US$3,000 duty-free allowance on goods carried home applies until the end of 1405. Most visitors arrive by air on 2–4 night packages that bundle a charter flight and a hotel, and a large share also come by sea.

What we could not confirm
- The charter penalty table is from Azar 1404; no 1405 confirmation was found, and refund rules have been changed ad hoc since the war.
- Tahagasht's 7.6–9.2 million toman one-way Tehran–Kish fares for Mehr/Aban 1405 were on a stale page and were not verified.
- The 11–17 Mehr 1405 sea figure (8,902 passengers) was not verified.

Hotel
Hotels are sold mostly inside packages; Alibaba's most-searched domestic hotels in 1404 were in Mashhad and Kish, and Alibaba, Eghamat24, Snapptrip, Iran Hotel Online and Flytoday all have Kish hotel pages.
In Aban 1405 (Nabz-e Gheymat, 11 Aban 1405 / 2 Nov 2026) Kish 2–4 night air packages started at 14.9 to 22 million toman per person (double room, starting prices, not final). No reliable daily Tehran–Kish airfare was published.
Tips
- Kish charters are nearly non-refundable: per the CAO rules reported by Taadol (8 Azar 1404), Kish, Qeshm and Chabahar charters lose 50–60% more than 72 hours out, 70–80% between 72 and 24 hours, and almost everything inside 24 hours; many Nowruz and summer charters cannot be refunded at all.
- The $3,000 passenger allowance (up from $80) runs to the end of 1405, so it expires right around Nowruz 1406; how many times a passenger can use it was not stated.
- Arriving by sea is common: in the week of 28 Shahrivar to 3 Mehr 1405, 13,385 of 31,329 Kish passengers came by sea (9,084 by landing craft, 4,301 by fast vessel) and 17,944 by air on 151 flights.
- Eghamat24 links Kish attraction tickets from its site; Kish hotel URLs on Alibaba look like /hotel/ir-kish/{hotel}.
- Tehran–Kish and Tehran–Shiraz showed no seats in comparison systems on 5 Mehr 1405, which may mean sold out rather than suspended; search a few days either side.
