Staying in Yerevan
Yerevan is the nearest capital Iranians can reach by road and, by most accounts, without a visa for up to 90 days in any 180. It suits short trips by bus or car from the north-west as well as flights from Tehran; Iranian sellers have Tehran–Yerevan flight pages but no verified Yerevan hotel page.

What we could not confirm
- Armenia's visa-free terms have no official confirmation in the notes (Armenpress returned 403).
- Tbilisi–Yerevan train fares and timetable are unverified (source returned 401).
- No Yerevan hotel seller page, nightly rate or neighbourhood guidance was found.

Hotel
No Iranian seller's Yerevan hotel page was verified; foreign booking sites need a card that works outside Iran. Eghamat24 lists international hotels and accepts rial, but Yerevan was not among the cities seen.
Tips
- Armenia's 90-days-in-180 visa-free rule for Iranian ordinary passports rests on Wikipedia and an unreachable Armenpress report; a November 2026 overhaul of Armenia's immigration law was reported, so re-check before travelling.
- Flytoday's blog published an overland-to-Armenia guide on 1405/06/29; Ghasedak24 has a Tehran–Yerevan flight route page (/flights/THRALL-EVNALL).
- The 1405 exit tax applies (900,000 toman for the first trip of the year).
- The Tbilisi–Yerevan overnight train (about 10.5 hours) is reported at roughly $35–60 by class at the station, but that source could not be fetched.
